Mission Statement

The objective of the Creighton Atmospheric Science Society (CATSS) is to offer students enhanced
knowledge and skill in meteorology. Students are presented with the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on
experience by participating in forecasting contests, and producing a daily forecast for The
Creightonian newspaper online. Activities also include map discussions, guest lecturers, use of McIDAs feeds, and tour of
area weather analysis facilities in order to keep students in touch with meteorology and its role in the future.
